And in other news, I am insane.
The JJ&J Challenge
Basic Plot Elements:
The island on "Lost" is, in fact, a Wolfram & Hart holding dimension.
At some point during the NFA battle, just when Angel's group thinks they've turned the tide, a dimensional portal opens up and sucks them all onto the island. Like the holding dimension on the show, the sun does not burn Angel or Spike.
The portal must suck in, at a minimum, Angel, Spike, and Illyria.
Feel free to use the island magic that healed Locke and resurrected Jack's father to bring back dead characters (Wesley, Lindsey), or heal mortally wounded characters (Gunn). It is up to you how many characters W&H disposes on the island -- do they consider Lorne, Harmony, and Connor a threat now? What about Angel's other allies, like Faith, Buffy, Willow...?
Are Angel and Spike also "healed"? Are they human now? Is this the fulfillment of the Shanshu prophecy?
One thing the island magic must do is "heal" Illyria -- i.e. separate her from Fred and give her back her original huge-ass tentacled form. Whether Fred survives this or not is up to you, but Illyria is the unseen hulking monster on the island.
Choose From One Of The Following Options:
1. Everyone on the plane in "Lost" has pissed off Wolfram & Hart somehow (have lots of fun as to how they all did this); the flashbacks we've seen are their real memories. W&H manipulated events to get them all on one plane, then sent it through a rift.
2. One person on the plane in "Lost" pissed off Wolfram & Hart somehow, and the rest of them were just unlucky enough to be sitting on a plane with them; the flashbacks we've seen are their real memories. Claire "Devil Baby" and Walt "I See Polar Bears" are logical options. Of course, you could always make me happy and have it be Hurley, dude.
3. Everyone on "Lost" has pissed off Wolfram & Hart somehow -- but they were never on a plane. They're also not who they think they are. Like the mind-wipe experienced by Gunn and Lindsey in the holding dimension on the show, all their memories are false. Jin is Gavin Park; Sawyer is the vampire Angel met in "City Of...", etc. If you choose this option, the same mind-wipe must happen to the AtS characters when they arrive. Go nuts making up new Lost-style backstories for them; are Angel and Wesley on their second honeymoon? Are Fred and Lindsey bickering siblings from Down South? Is Spike a washed-up stage magician from Toledo traveling with his assistant Harmony? And why is he suddenly so into rare meat?
Additional Options:
1. (Goes With Option Three Above) APO convenes; Weiss (The Pilot) has disappeared while on a special Project Black Hole mission with Kendall (Locke) to investigate a shady L.A. law firm believed to possess several Rambaldi artifacts. Mysteriously, this law firm was destroyed right after they went missing. APO has, however, recovered a few bizarre objects from the rubble, which are given to Marshall to discover how they work. He soon discovers, to his overwhelming geek glee, that one of them opens dimensional portals...
2. (Any Option) The AtS cast and the Lost cast aren't the only ones on the island; there are others as well. These "others" can be from any fandom you enjoy that could piss off Wolfram & Hart... which is really just about any of them. They do handle interdimensional evil; perhaps Voldemort is a client?
Examples:
-- Mulder and Scully, X-Files (investigating W&H would be right up their alley)
-- Agent Cooper, Twin Peaks (red room = holding dimension gateway?)
